Week 1 Overview

This week we are going to learn about the basics of modern NLP. Specifically, in the lectures we will cover:

• Course logistics

• Introduction to NLP

• Tokenisation and sentence splitting notes, slides

• Text classification

In the first lab session we will learn how to work with the envirounments and the python packages that we are going to use throughtout the course.
